12-year-old hospitalized after being found unresponsive in pool in Taylor

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – A child is hospitalized after being found unresponsive in a pool in Taylor on Monday.

Police said a 12-year-old girl was found unresponsive in a pool by officers at the Heritage Glen Townhouses near Wick and Pelham roads on June 15 at around 2 p.m.

Officers performed CPR on the child, and she was taken to a local hospital. She is listed in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
