HAMTRAMCK, Mich. – Authorities in upstate New York are searching for Harbe Nagi, a 7-year-old boy with autism, who is the nephew of Hamtramck Mayor Adam Alharbi, and police say he may need medical attention.

Nagi was reported missing on June 28 in the village of Menands, near Albany.

Police said the child is nonverbal and is believed to be barefoot.
