An on-the-go agency is here to help Wayne County residents make ends meet, here’s how

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – An agency has been helping residents across Wayne County pay rent, utilities, home repairs childcare and more. Now that agency is taking their services on the road.

The Wayne Metropolitan Community Action agency is launching “Wayne Metro on the go”, a mobile intake unit to bring support directly into communities across the County.

The organization is planning to give residents access at block parties and community events to connect with staff and access full range of services on the spot.

Jasmine Carson, executive director and Hiba Haidous, director of community for the organization joined Local 4 Live to tell us more on how residents can utilize this service.
