MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – A man is facing charges for allegedly making terroristic threats against an American Islamic Community Center in Madison Heights.
Christopher Andrew Lord, 35, was charged with false report or threat of terrorism and using a computer to commit a crime.

Police said Lord called the community center in the 27000 block of Dequindre Road on June 28 and allegedly left two voicemails threatening acts of violence.
After the alleged threat was reported to police, investigators quickly identified Lord and his whereabouts. A search warrant was executed just after midnight on June 30 at a hotel in Madison Heights, where Lord was taken into custody.
Lord was arraigned in court on July 2 and was given a $500,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court on July 15.
