Man claims he found the first scientifically verified Bigfoot specimen

Snake claims he tested the DNA at Cornell’s Veterinary DNA Lab

If you believe the legend, Michigan is Bigfoot country.

The state ranks among the top in the nation for reported Bigfoot sightings, with more than 220 encounters listed in the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization database. Most of those reports come from the Upper Peninsula and the northern Lower Peninsula.

Now, a man known as “Snake the Bigfoot Hunter” claims he found what he believes is the first scientifically verified Bigfoot specimen -- a claim that has drawn both attention and skepticism.

He claims that, after DNA testing, the body he found has 58.5% Neanderthal and 41.5% human DNA.

Snake Stuart claims to have found the body while camping. He joined Local 4 Live to tell us what he found.
