“Tonight, several of you, along with myself and Cabinet members, received a very alarming email,” Jensen wrote in a message to district employees. “We are canceling summer school and summer camp for tomorrow.”

Jensen instructed employees scheduled to report to buildings to wait for guidance from supervisors about whether to report in person or work remotely.

She also thanked staff members who alerted district leadership after receiving the email.

“I appreciate your diligence and just know we are working through this as quickly as we can,” Jensen wrote.

The threatening message referenced multiple Fitzgerald Public Schools buildings and claimed a planned attack.

Warren police said they are investigating the situation.
