You can now see DIA art while walking on a riverfront -- Here’s how

DETROIT – The DIA and Detroit Riverfront Conservancy are partnering to showcase art outdoors.

The partnership is a apart of the DIA Inside Out program.

The program began in 2010, aiming to take world-class art of the museum and into the neighborhoods and parks across the state.

On July 22 the partnership will be hosting free walking tours along the Southwest Greenway to showcase the art.

Seven works of art will be located within the Southwest Greenway, Ralph C. Wilson Park and the Riverfront.

Julie Mcfarland from the DIA and Addison Mauck from the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, joined Local 4 Live to tell us what to expect.
