ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Officials are investigating after a man's body was found on the side of a road Sunday in Rochester Hills.
Police said the body of the 22-year-old man was found on Avon Road near Adams Road.
Family members of the victim told officials the man got into an argument with his girlfriend while at a graduation party. He left the area on foot around 10 p.m. and was not seen until his body was found.
"I could not imagine finding one of my siblings or my parents on the side of the road just like that," neighbor Coleman Fresquez said. "That would destroy me."
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said the man was discovered by his family, who began looking for him when he did not return home Saturday night.
There are no sidewalks in the area where the man was found, and deputies said the incident looks to possibly have been a hit-and-run.
