VP of Detroit funeral home dies days after customers claim mother was wrongly cremated Joseph Hutchison Jr. found dead on Sept. 24.
DETROIT – The vice president of a Detroit funeral home has died days after a family claimed their mother was wrongly cremated.
Joseph Hutchison Jr., Hutchison Funeral Home’s Vice President of Operations, was found dead on Thursday, Sept. 24, a public relations representative for the funeral home confirmed.
The circumstances surrounding his death have not been released to the public. Police have launched an investigation.
Hutchison’s death comes about a week after a family accused the funeral home of wrongly cremating a loved one, demanding answers.
