Heat warning continues, temps approach 100 degrees again

Excessive Heat Warning in effect until 8pm for several counties

Headline Goes Here

DETROIT - Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing. Highs in the mid to upper 90s for along the M-59 corridor, and approaching 100 degrees again from Eight Mile to the state line. However, humidity will make it feel around 100 degrees.

There is still the chance for some scattered showers and storms tonight, with lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Then, relief from this relentless heat arrives, with partly to mostly sunny skies on Sunday, with highs in the low 80s, and we'll keep pleasant temperatures and low humidity right into mid-week!

**Excessive Heat Warning continues in effect until 8pm for Macomb, Oakland, Livingston, Wayne, Washtenaw, Monroe and Lenawee Counties**
