DETROIT - Wednesday morning requires no air conditioning again.  However, southwest winds will be a game changer.  Hotter air streams in for the afternoon causing temperatures to climb to the upper 80s.  Also, sunscreen is a must for parents and children with mostly sunny skies and a high UV index.

Wednesday night will be warm and muggy with lows near 70.

Thursday and Friday will be hotter and remain humid.  Thursday's readings will soar into the middle and upper 90s.  Friday will be in the low 90s.  There is a chance of rain late Thursday night and Friday but no big soakers that many Detroiters need.

The weekend remains hot to very warm with highs near 90 on Saturday and in the upper 80s on Sunday.  There is another chance of scattered showers and storms Sunday.
