Pizza delivery man robbed at gunpoint in Chesterfield Township

Fake order called in from Aspen Creek apartment complex

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Hungry Howie's delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint while delivering a bogus order.

The victim was making a delivery at the Aspen Creek apartment complex. When he went to the address on the order, the person who answered the door said she never ordered pizza.

The driver called the number from the order, and the man who answered told the driver to meet him in the parking lot.

The man approached, pulled out a gun and took the delivery driver's money.

The delivery driver wasn't hurt.

The suspect is a black man, 6' and 200 lbs. with a stocky build. He was wearing a red baseball cap, a red t-shirt and jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chesterfield Police Department at 586-949-2322 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
