Defendant Travis McMichael is giving a testimony Wednesday in the trial of the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery.

Travis McMichael is one of three men accused of chasing and shooting Ahmaud Arbery, a Black man, in Georgia on Feb. 23, 2020. Travis McMichael, his father Greg McMichael and their neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan are all currently on trial, facing charges for murder and other crimes.

The accused men argue that they believed Arbery was a burglar and they intended to catch him and hold him until law enforcement arrived. A now-viral video captured the three men pursuing Arbery, who was reportedly jogging in the area, with guns.
