MUST SEE: BMW plunges 7 stories from Texas parking garage; crashes into alley

A BMW plunged 7 stories from a Texas garage last month and crashed front-first into the alley below. Security footage of the crash was released by the Austin Police Department on Thursday.

The video shows a Chevrolet Tahoe trying to turn around in an alley. Suddenly, the BMW violently crashes to the ground behind the SUV. The BMW hits the rear of the Tahoe and rolls upside down. The SUV moves out of the way before bystanders rush to help the driver of the BMW.

According to KXAN, the crash occurred when the woman driving the BMW mistook the gas pedal for the brakes and crashed through the parking garage barriers. She was seriously injured in the crash.

The driver of the Tahoe was not injured.
