ROAD RAGE: Man violently attacks woman after following her to Missouri Walgreens parking lot

A Missouri woman was violently attacked in a dramatic road rage incident outside a Missouri drug store last week, and it was all caught on surveillance video.

Police in Arnold, Missouri released the footage showing the altercation.

The footage shows a man confronting a woman in a Walgreens parking lot. His pickup truck is parked directly behind her SUV, preventing her from backing out.

The man kicks the woman's car several times before she gets out and appears to try taking a photo on her cellphone. That's when the man charges at the woman and tackles her to the ground. He then gets up and throws her phone across the parking lot.

The man nearly hits the woman with his truck as he drives out of the parking lot.

According to KSDK, police have identified the man as 50-year-old Scott Heatherly. He has been charged with assault and property damage. He has not been taken into custody.

Arnold police are looking for Heatherly. They are telling local residents to not approach Heatherly due to his "propensity for violence." They ask that residents instead contact law enforcement.

The woman in the video said a man driving a pickup truck followed her to the Walgreens parking lot, where he berated her for throwing something out her window. She said she did no such thing, and that he targeted the wrong driver.

The woman says she tried taking a photo of his license plate for the damage he was doing to her car.

Daris Almond, Heatherly's attorney, said there is no timeframe for when his client will turn himself in to police.
