Thieves use truck to smash into Dearborn jewelry store

DEARBORN, Mich. – A stolen truck was used to smash into a jewelry store Wednesday morning in Dearborn allowing thieves entry without setting off the alarm.

The robbery happened at NJ Diamonds at about 4:45 a.m. at the corner of Ford and Schaefer roads.

A truck was backed into the store and the passenger went inside clearing out jewelry. The passenger then took the stolen items to an accomplice on a motorcycle.

Surveillance video caught the entire incident.
