West Bloomfield Beaumont Medical Center temporarily closed due to water issues

Today's surgeries have been rescheduled or relocated to a safer area

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. – All Beaumont services in the Beaumont Medical Center in West Bloomfield are closed due to the water main break on Monday.

In a statement released Tuesday, Beaumont Health stated that the West Bloomfield Beaumont Medical Center might have some private physicians still active in the building, but all official medical services have been closed down.

All surgeries Tuesday have been rescheduled or relocated to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Anyone with a medical appointment within the affected areas- should call ahead and verify that the location is open.

In the statement, it's reported that they will monitor the status of the water and will not resume medical services in any affected area until testing confirms the safety of the water.
