Royal Oak's Barktoberfest features dogs, craft beer, local music
ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Barktoberfest pairs dogs with local craft beers and music Saturday and Sunday in Royal Oak.
Dogs are, of course, welcome at the event. Many vendors will be selling pet supplies, such as car restraints and oils to calm pets.
There will also be a Howl-a-ween Costume Contest and a Weiner Dog Race, with prizes for the winners.
For the humans, there are food trucks, beer and music all weekend.
Barktoberfest is at Memorial Park at 13 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5. Children under 10 get in free.
