Introducing WAY Academy: Flint

WAY Academy-Flint is chartered by Lake Superior State University and AdvancEd accredited. The school has been an educational jewel for families for more than five years.

Why is this so?

The simple answer is, relationships and dedication.

We meet each of our students where they are, we accept them for who they are and we are a small school with a large impact on student lives. Additionally, we practice restorative practices and positive behavior interventions and provide the support that helps create a community where bullying, violence and other educational distractions are minimized, if not eliminated.

Further, WAY Academy Flint’s flexibility allows us to stand above other options.

We have a learning environment that allows students to create schedules that work for them. We provide technology and internet access for each of our students to engage in learning in our proprietary online learning platform "HERO."

HERO allows access to 24-hour learning outside of face-to-face lab time.

New this year, we have added free day care options, free bus passes and a brand-new partnership with Genesee ISD, which provides free CTE courses for our researchers.

Please visit us on the school website and on our Facebook page and to learn more. You will find testimonies from current and former students expressing the positive experiences they have had with WAY Academy Flint.
