Lions kicker Austin Seibert missed two field goals, including one in the final two minutes that would have extended the lead from three to six.

The missed field goal led to Minnesota driving down the field quickly, scoring a touchdown with about 45 seconds left, taking the lead from Detroit. And the rest was history.

The Lions haven’t won a game on the road since 2020, and haven’t had a winning record since 2019. They drop to 1-2 on the season.

Lions quarterback Jared Goff had another great game, throwing for more than 250 yards, with one touchdown. Jamaal Williams led the ground attack with more than 70 yards rushing including two touchdowns.

Who’s next: The Lions return home next Sunday to take on the Seattle Seahawks.
