Detroit Lions break out ‘Donald Trump dance’ after touchdown in Washington

DETROIT – The Detroit Lions broke out the “Donald Trump dance” after scoring a touchdown Sunday in Washington.

Amon-Ra St. Brown caught a pass from Jared Goff across the middle on third and 7 from the 10-yard line and forced his way between two defenders into the end zone.

That score gave the Lions a 13-3 lead before the extra point made it 14-3.

St. Brown pointed up toward the stands, presumable toward where President Donald Trump is sitting, and broke out the infamous “Donald Trump dance.” Several of his teammates joined in.

The Associated Press announced pregame that Trump was planning to become the first sitting United States president since 1978 to attend a regular-season NFL game.

Extra security measures were taken at the game, include Secret Service members, military, and officers.
