Police, FBI identify, arrest 34-year-old man after making threats to ‘shoot up’ GOP headquarters

Police said the man threatened to “put a bullet” in Krish Mathrani’s skull

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Waterford man has been charged after making threats against the Oakland County GOP and the Michigan GOP Youth Chair, Krish Mathrani.

Bloomfield Township Police said evidence revealed that a Facebook account was messaging the GOP, threatening to use “Molotov cocktails for MAGA” and to “eradicate” them and their donors.

Officials said the Facebook profile began making audio calls to the GOP, threatening to shoot up the Oakland County Republican Headquarters and to light it on fire.

Police said the man on the line also threatened to kill Mathrani and everyone who worked at the office.

Officials said the man threatened to “put a bullet” in Mathrani’s skull.

Bloomfield Township Detectives, along with FBI agents, identified the Facebook profile as that of Ryan Lewis Vallance, a 34-year-old white man from Waterford.

Police said they located Vallance in a vehicle near his residence and performed a traffic stop.

Officials said Vallance was interviewed and admitted to investigators that he made the threats stemming from his anger toward President Donald Trump and the GOP.

Vallance was arrested on Nov. 22, 2025, for threats and transported to the Bloomfield Township Police Department.

The case was handed over to the Troy Special Investigations Unit, which the Bloomfield Township Police Department is a part of.

This case was presented to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, which reviewed it and issued a one-count warrant for false report/ threats of terrorism, a 20-year felony.

Vallance was arraigned at the 52-4 District Court on Saturday (Nov. 22), where he was issued a $1,000,000 no 10% cash bond and was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending his next court hearing.
