‘I am a monster:’ Michigan man gets 50 years for blackmailing children into making porn
WATERFORD, MI – A Michigan man is sentenced to 50 years in prison for crimes related to the production of child pornography, including blackmailing his victims into making it for him, authorities said. Court records show that Desco, who was on parole for a previous offense of distributing child sexually abusive material, sexually exploited at least 10 children using a variety of methods. Desco sexually assaulted a 7-year-old boy who he knew well, recorded that abuse, and sent it to others on the dark web, records show. “Yes, I am sick, and yes, I am a monster,” Desco said in one series of messages that investigators recovered from a child pornography group he was part of. He was a member of several groups, both on the dark web and the open web, that traded child pornography, according to records.
