She's a local mom who wants to warn others not to let your guard down when it comes to COVID-19. Her family learned just how quickly, and silently, the coronavirus can spread, especially when the first person infected doesn't have symptoms.
Parents who are now more deeply involved in their child's learning are increasingly raising concerns about their child's inability to pay attention or complete tasks. Many are particularly concerned about attention disorders like ADHD.
“The message we want to get out is that you are not alone," Julie Halpert said. "There are many people to turn to for help. There are many incredible organizations and resources for young people to get the help that they need.”
