Reviews less than kind for ‘How We Roll’ sitcom based on Saginaw bowler’s life
Reviews of the pilot episode of “How We Roll” did not award any “300″ scores after the show debuted Thursday night on CBS. The show, based on the life of Saginaw bowler Tom Smallwood, aired at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, starring Pete Holmes, Katie Lowes, Julie White and Chi McBride. The show’s reviews Friday gave the show high grades as a family-friendly show, but they didn’t find it funny enough to endorse continued attention. Smallwood, who won two PBA major championships, bowled Friday in the 2022 United States Bowling Congress Masters in Las Vegas.
