The Red Wings will have a couple days off, a luxury in the NHL this season, before playing the Predators on the road Tuesday night.

Red Wings’ offense stifled in loss to Stars
DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings’ offense that had perked up the past three weeks was stifled Saturday by the Dallas Stars. The Red Wings (10-18-4) were seeking their first three-game winning streak of the season. The Red Wings likely will ride Greiss for at least a little while because Jonathan Bernier is out an undetermined amount of time due to a lower-body injury. Tanner Kero scored his first goal in 13 games this season to open the scoring at 17:22 of the second period.
