Today on Live In The D, we had Music Monday with a twist. As you know, we love to share the musical sounds of our talented friends. Today we shared some music and more from a Detroit institution that is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Outnumbering them at the voting booth on January 5th starts with registering now. In fact, 2020 was on pace to be one of her busiest yet. The pair collaborated and co-wrote “I Am America” for Daniels' 2020 record, and it was used in an online voter awareness campaign ahead of Georgia's run-off election.Saturday's virtual event is free but requires registration, which can be done by visiting TheCarrCenter.org

DETROIT – A Detroit nonprofit organization is making art accessible for everyone in many different ways, and it has some big names on board to help make it possible. “The Carr Center is a multi-disciplinary arts organization,” said Sarah Norat-Phillips, from the Carr Center. If you have a love for any type of art there’s something for everyone. The organization isn’t letting the COVID-19 pandemic stop it from keeping the community engaged in art. The Carr Center has set up an incredible virtual art gallery.
