The 2021 NBA Summer League is in the books. Here’s a look back at all the former Wolverines in Summer League, most of which was played in Las Vegas and wrapped on Tuesday night. Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic)Wagner’s first Summer League basket came on a dunk after a pretty bounce pass from Teske.

NBA prospects for Michigan’s Isaiah Livers, Chaundee Brown, Mike Smith

Last year, a Michigan player was not selected in the NBA draft for the first time since 2015. Three former Wolverines, besides Wagner, have indicated their desire to play in the NBA: Isaiah Livers, Chaundee Brown, and Mike Smith. The NBA draft is set for July 29. Livers shot 43 percent from 3-point range on 116 attempts last season; he’s at 41 percent for his career. Grant said Livers projects as a spot-up shooter in the league who has “good enough size to avoid being a complete liability defensively.” In the NBA, Livers figures to be a small forward or a small-ball power forward.

Eligible to return, Michigan basketball seniors have decisions to make

In most years, Tuesday’s NCAA Tournament loss would have, definitively, been the final college game for Michigan’s men’s basketball seniors. Michigan has five scholarship seniors: Eli Brooks, Chaundee Brown, Austin Davis, Isaiah Livers, and Mike Smith, all of whom started at some point this past season. Whether any of Michigan’s seniors take advantage of this one-time rule remains to be seen. Michigan’s seniors, who, as of Tuesday, would have normally been a part of the program’s past, will be making decisions that influence the program’s future. Michigan transfers Chaundee Brown, Mike Smith make quite the first impression

Michigan’s two veteran acquisitions, Chaundee Brown and Mike Smith, were Michigan’s top performers in Wednesday’s season-opening victory 96-82 over Bowling Green.
