DETROIT -- The Detroit Pistons returned home on Monday night and played with plenty of intensity to beat Trae Young-less Atlanta Hawks 100-86 at Little Caesars Arena. The two rookies, along with the Pistons’ second unit, helped to limit the Hawks to 8-of-20 shooting overall in the second quarter. The Pistons’ bench outscored the Hawks bench16-7 in the second quarter. Detroit’s go-to guy carved Atlanta’s defense for 4-of-7 shooting overall and made his lone 3-point attempt.
