DETROIT – A 19-year-old man has been charged in connection to the shooting death of a Detroit women. Andrea Tucker, 40, of Detroit, was shot in the driveway of a residence in the 16900 block of Carlisle in Detroit around 9 a.m. on Nov. 17. Jarren Cox of Wixom has been charged with first degree murder, felony firearm, and witness intimidation, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced Thursday. It is alleged that Cox shot Tucker when she returned home from dropping her kids off at school. Cox was arrested on Nov. 22 after an investigation by the Detroit Police Department.

A Wixom man is accused of fatally shooting a Detroit woman in the driveway outside of her home after she dropped her children off at school.

Detroit police are searching for a person of interest in connection with the death of a mother of two who was shot and killed outside of her home.

DUBAI An oil tanker sought by the U.S. over allegedly circumventing sanctions on Iran was hijacked on July 5 off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, a seafarers organization said Wednesday. Satellite photos showed the vessel in Iranian waters on Tuesday and two of its sailors remained in the Iranian capital. TankerTrackers.com, a website tracking the oil trade at sea, said it saw the vessel in satellite photos on Tuesday in Iranian waters off Hormuz Island. The vessel then took on Iranian oil from Kharg Island to sell abroad, the U.S. government said. It filed a report saying the vessel and its sailors had been abandoned by its owners since March off Khorfakkan.
