DESMOUNT DIXON

OAK PARK, MI – A Detroit man is charged with murder after he showed up at the crime scene while police were still investigating, WDIV Local 4 reports. Derrion Deandre Walker, 18, of Detroit, is facing multiple charges in connection to the death of Desmount Dixon, 33, of Detroit. About 3.5 hours after the shooting, Walker and two others arrived on the scene. Walker was arrested at the scene while the others were released pending further investigation. Police believe Walker and the two others were conducting a transaction with Dixon when Walker allegedly pulled a gun to rob him and shot Dixon before he drove away.

A Detroit teenager was arrested in connection with an Oak Park murder when he returned to the scene hours after the shooting while police were still investigating, they said.
