The next president at the University of Michigan says he can’t take the job because of brain cancer.

The University of Michigan had ended contracts with undercover security personnel after a report accused the university of using investigators to surveil pro-Palestinian groups on campus.

The University of Michigan officially has an interim president as Domenico Grasso has been appointed.

Domenico Grasso, the chancellor for the University of Michigan's Dearborn campus, has been selected as the university's interim president.
