Man, 58, accused of groping women at Wayne State
DETROIT – A 58-year-old Michigan man is accused of sexually assaulting five women across the Wayne State University campus last week, authorities said. RELATED: Serial groper at Wayne State is caughtBarnett is accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old Detroit woman, and assaulting two 19-year-old Detroit women, an 18-year-old Detroit woman and a 19-year-old St. Clair Shores woman, the release said. The victims described incidents in which the suspect hugged them and then groped them in various ways. The defendant was arraigned on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Wayne County’s 36th District Court. Terms of release include a GPS tether, house arrest, and no contact with the victims, the university or any other college campus.
