DETROIT – Homicide investigators from the Detroit Police Department were investigating a deadly shooting Tuesday morning on the city’s east side. UPDATE: Man arrested after woman fatally shot on Detroit’s east side, police sayAccording to police, a woman was shot about 1:30 a.m. in a SUV on Whittier Avenue at Kelly Road. She then drove about 100 yards down the road to near the intersection of Houston Whittier Street and Hayes Street. Someone went to the Detroit Police Department’s 3rd Precinct and said they shot and killed someone. Detroit police are working to figure this out.
