The Huron Township Police Department warns residents to be vigilant as overnight thefts targeting vehicles and homes have increased.

Huron Township police say it was an airsoft gun found in a backpack that prompted a lockdown and a massive police response Tuesday (May 17) morning at Summit Academy North.

A boil water alert was issued for Huron Township on Sunday following a large water main break, according to the Huron Township Police Department.

Police are investigating a shooting and stabbing that happened early Friday morning in Huron Township.
