U.P. man charged with sexually assaulting child multiple times
MARQUETTE, MI -- An Iron River man has been charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct after he allegedly assaulted a child multiple times. The alleged victim -- who is under 10 years old -- was forensically interviewed at the Caring House in Iron Mountain regarding the assaults. The victim told investigators details about the assaults, which she said took place more than four times, according to the news station. The girl allegedly said she was afraid to tell anyone because the suspect said he would “harm someone” if she said anything about the assaults. A $150,000 cash surety bond was set and Shumate is currently being held at the Iron County Jail.

Steve Bright from Norwell, Massachusetts is the third contestant tonight, which is hosted by Bill Whitaker.
