Detroit man charged with second-degree murder in connection with fatal shooting
Prosecutors have charged a 27-year-old Detroit man in connection with the homicide of Jerome Jackson, 49, also from Detroit. Police said Jackson was found dead Sunday after 1:37 p.m. Police said Wright shot Jackson after a brief argument. Wright was arraigned Wednesday on one count of second-degree murder and felony firearm. A probable cause conference is scheduled for Nov. 16 at 8:30 a.m. A preliminary exam is scheduled for Dec. 3 at 9 a.m.
