Michigan football lands elite 2022 safety Keon Sabb
Michigan’s football program has added a second top-100 recruit in the 2022 class. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Keon Sabb, who decommitted from Clemson on Dec. 6, signed with the Wolverines on Wednesday, the opening day of the early signing window. The Wolverines have bolstered their secondary this cycle, also adding four-star safety Zeke Barry, three-star cornerback Myles Pollard and three-star safety Damani Dent. Four-star defensive back Kody Jones also is committed by has not signed his NLI yet. Sabb spent the first three seasons of his high school career at Williamstown (N.J.).

Michigan’s football program appears to be in a good position to land Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star safety Keon Sabb. 80 overall recruit in the 2022 class, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings, decommitted from Clemson on Monday, and the Wolverines are the favorite to land the talented defensive back, according to 247Sports’ Anna Hickey. Sabb’s decommitment comes a day after Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables left to take the head coaching job at Oklahoma. “Michigan the likely landing spot,” Hickey reported. If Michigan can land Sabb, he would become its second top-100 recruit in the class, joining Grosse Pointe South five-star cornerback Will Johnson.
