Party like it’s 1989: Michigan basketball to host Seton Hall this season

The matchups are out for the 2021 Gavitt Games, the annual series pitting the Big Ten against the Big East, and Michigan has drawn a home game against Seton Hall. Seton Hall went 14-13 last season and finished tied for fourth in the Big East with a 10-9 record. Michigan is 2-1 all-time in the Gavitt Games, having last participated in 2019, when the Wolverines beat Creighton at Crisler Center. Michigan has only played Seton Hall twice, both on neutral courts. Michigan will host Kentucky on Dec. 4 and, per a contract signed before last season, visit Central Florida at some point.
