TEMPE, Ariz. — Nick Schmaltz and Nick Bjugstad scored on Arizona’s first two shootout attempts and the Coyotes beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 on Tuesday night to end a nine-game losing streak. Ingram has started two straight games for the first time this season. Pius Suter and David Perron also scored for the Red Wings in the second game of a back-to-back. After a sluggish first two periods, each team scored twice in a 3:03 span early in the third. Magnus Hellberg made 20 saves for the Red Wings in his first start in five games.

The Mullett will have a party in the front and the back on Friday night.

Alex Galchenyuk was the only scorer in the shootout and the Arizona Coyotes rallied to beat Colorado 3-2, snapping the Avalanche’s 18-game home winning streak.

Lawson Crouse's second goal of the night with 1:05 remaining gave the Arizona Coyotes their first win of the season, 5-4 over the expansion Seattle Kraken.
