Fieger Law has built a name for itself through high-profile cases and a strong presence in Michigan’s legal community, and now the firm is entering a new chapter.
President and CEO of Fieger Law James Harrington is the man helping lead that chapter. He started at the firm as an intern and ultimately became its owner.
During an appearance on “Live in the D,” Harrington talked about how watching Geoffrey Fieger try a case in Livingston County was a defining moment for him.
“I saw Geoff in front of the jury and I saw how he tried it, and it was literally like the sky parted and the light came down. In that moment, I said, that’s what I’m going to do for the rest of my life,” Harrington explained.
Harrington also talked about his pride in the team the firm has built.
“It’s not an individual success. Nothing is done by ourselves... I’m so proud of this incredible team. We have almost 90 employees. We’ve grown quite a bit over the last few years,” Harrington said.
“The number one hiring characteristic that I have is, are you good in the locker room? I don’t care if you’re super talented. What I care about is how do you fit with the team?” he explained.
Harrington said they’ve built the best team he’s ever been on.
