A man was arrested last week after he tried to steal more than $700 worth of meat from a Traverse City store and attacked employees with a shovel, police said.

An Ypsilanti couple will stand trial for resisting arrest and injuring an officer who was bitten and scratched while he was trying to investigate a shooting, officials said.
