Colin Kaepernick throws during halftime at Michigan spring game: ‘He can sling it’
ANN ARBOR – Cameras were all focused on midfield during halftime of Michigan’s spring football game on Saturday at Michigan Stadium. Kaepernick was invited by Jim Harbaugh, his former coach with the San Francisco 49ers, to spend the week with the Wolverines. He took part in two Michigan practices and was named an honorary captain for Saturday’s spring game. “Growing up in Reno, I was a 49er fan, so I always watched Coach Harbaugh with the 49ers, and ‘Kap’ was always the QB,” Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara said after Saturday’s exhibition. His halftime throwing session Saturday was sponsored by the Michigan student organization, “Wolverines Against Racism.”Read more Michigan football coverage from MLive:A.J.
