Kelsey Grammer leads revival of โFrasierโ for Paramount Plus
Before he was Dr. Frasier Crane on "Cheers" and "Frasier," Kelsey Grammer was Dr. Canard on the NBC soap "Another World." How many decades can the character Frasier Crane possibly survive on television? Kelsey Grammer is returning to the starring role of Dr. Crane in a revival of the hit 90s sitcom for the streaming service Paramount Plus. After โCheersโ ended, the spin-off, โFrasier,โ took Dr. Crane back home to Seattle with a newly-formed family, including his brother Niles Crane and dad, Martin Crane. Itโs unclear who from the original โFrasierโ cast will be joining Grammer for the revival.
'60 Minutes' will have streaming spinoff on Paramount+

(CBS News via AP)NEW YORK โ CBS News is launching a streaming version of โ60 Minutesโ on the new Paramount+ service, hoping to expose the durable brand to a younger and more diverse audience. The โ60 Minutes+โ program will debut March 4 with three separate episodes, the network announced Wednesday. For โ60 Minutes+,โ CBS is repurposing a team put together last year for a similar program, โ60 in 6,โ on the ill-fated Quibi platform. AdWhile โ60 in 6โ had shorter stories than the TV version of โ60 Minutes,โ the Paramount version will go longer.
ViacomCBS to rebrand CBS All Access as Paramount Plus
NEW YORK โ ViacomCBS will rebrand its CBS All Access streaming service as Paramount Plus, set to debut early next year with new, original shows. The new service will add shows from BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, other Paramount Pictures and ViacomCBS brands, in addition to what CBS All Access already offers. CBS was one of the first media companies to launch its own streaming service. Paramount Plus enters an increasingly crowded field. Disney last year launched its $7-a-month Disney Plus service.
