The Dallas Mavericks have advanced to the next round of the NBA playoffs with a pair of ex-Detroit Pistons in tow. Thanks to a red hot night from Spencer Dinwiddie and a pair of key threes from Reggie Bullock the Mavericks erased a 12-point deficit to eliminate the Utah Jazz with a 98-96 win. Dinwiddie chipped in 19 points off the bench, knocking down seven of his 12 overall shots from the floor. Dallas ended up making seven of its 11 shot attempts from three in the third quarter to eventually take a five-point lead into the third quarter. The two were reunited this season when the Mavericks acquired Dinwiddie from the Washington Wizards at the Feb. 10 trade deadline.

Los Angeles came back from the locker room with seven straight points and didn't slow down the rest of the third quarter. Leonard and Jackson each scored 10 points in the period, when the Clippers made five 3-pointers and scored 35 points, taking a 101-91 lead to the fourth. Knicks: Reggie Bullock, who missed the last three games with a sore neck, returned to the starting lineup and scored eight points.
