The British government is refusing to rule out nationalizing the last plant in the U.K. that makes steel from raw materials as the global trade war increases pressure to preserve the nation’s ability to supply domestic industry with the steel it needs.

Health officials with Michigan Medicine released a statement, saying it's inappropriate to continue to keep the boy on life support. Here's the full statement from Michigan Medicine:"Our health care team at Michigan Medicine empathizes with the family of Bobby Reyes, who are facing an extremely difficult and heartbreaking situation. An initial brain death examination on Sept. 24 showed Bobby had no detectable brain or brain stem function. Michigan Medicine has not proceeded with the second examination because the family sought relief in court, and a hearing is planned for Tuesday. "Our team at Michigan Medicine sympathizes with the Reyes family and is committed to providing support in this difficult time."

Monday morning was the deadline to pull the plug, but Jones won a court battle to keep life support going. Bobby will remain on life support at the hospital, but his mother believes he's already showing signs of improvement. She went to court Monday in Ann Arbor with a small army of fellow prayer warriors to stop the hospital.
