Eaton County woman rescued from subzero temperatures after car gets stuck in snow
A 43-year-old Michigan woman is happy to be alive after her car got stuck in the snow amid subzero temperatures this week. According to Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich, the woman was leaving work early Tuesday morning when her Ford Blazer got stuck. Because the snow was so high, police officers had to use the assistance of nearly the entire community to help the woman. 3-year-old shot at Michigan indoor entertainment center
DELTA TOWNSHIP, MI – A 3-year-old girl was shot while visiting an indoor amusement center near Lansing on Tuesday. The victim was rushed to a local hospital for surgery, Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich said in a news release. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Zap Zone, an amusement center near the Lansing Mall that features laser tag and arcade games, police said. She was transported to Sparrow Hospital by paramedics with the Delta Township Fire Department. Eaton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Michigan State Police, Lansing Police Department and Lansing Township Police Department.mlive.com
