GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- A 39-year-old man shot and killed during an attempted Byron Township home invasion was a parole absconder, prison records show. The man, Christopher Carl-James Worth of Middleville, was shot and killed by a homeowner along 108th Street just east of Wilson Avenue just after midnight Thursday, March 31.
