The Rhonda Walker Foundation hosted its 23rd annual Christmas party at the Boys and Girls Club in Detroit -- providing food, gifts and holiday cheer to more than 100 children and their families staying at shelters.

The Rhonda Walker Foundation’s 15th annual Give and Get Fit event is this Sunday on the Detroit Riverfront.

After the school bell rang, we officially launched the Empowering Her Success Academy, an after-school program of the Rhonda Walker Foundation in partnership with automaker Stellantis for girls in grades three through seven.

The Rhonda Walker Foundation is celebrating 20 years of empowering inner-city teen girls with stories of sisterhood, strength and transformation through the foundation’s extensive program.

The Rhonda Walker Foundation celebrates the 10th annual Give and Get Fit Health and Fitness event on Sunday, July 26, 2020 by going virtual. All registered 5K/10K participants will receive a performance shirt, medal and special discounts from our sponsors! Proceeds benefit the Rhonda Walker Foundation’s award-winning health and wellness youth programming through its five-year Girls into Women career, personal development, education and mentoring program for inner city teen girls. We encourage all participants to become a Camp I Can Champion by fundraising $250 -- the amount needed to send one teen to Camp I Can. Camp I Can is a weekend leadership and self development retreat with fun-filled activities that stress team building, self-esteem, confidence building and overcoming barriers.

Rhonda Walker will be inducted into the CATCH Foundation Hall Of Fame for all that she does in our communities. Rhonda is part of an impressive list of inductees tonight, and she will be praised for her lifes dedication to the Rhonda Walker Foundation empowering Detroit youth. What a leader, what a mentor, what a role model Rhonda Walker is and should be to all of you boys & girls, men & women out there. Maybe the biggest blessing bestowed upon Rhonda Walker this year (a crazy busy, rewarding year) was getting to marry the love of her life and her best friend, Jason.
