Metro Detroit weekend construction guide: I-75 closure and more

DETROIT – Construction is expected to impact travel around Metro Detroit this weekend.

Lanes will be closed on multiple freeways and roads, including I-94 and I-75.

UPDATE: The planned closure of I-75 between Springwells Street and Clark Street for Gordie Howe Bridge construction work has been postponed. The new date for the weekend-long closure will be announced at a later date.

According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, rain could cause delays or cancellations of the planned work.
